Freight is shipped to a local freight terminal or a commercial business that has off loading facilities.
Residential (city) Delivery can be arranged in most cases.
The Residential (city) Delivery will have additional fees to the shipping fee you were charged by the seller for the product, if any, and usually range from $50 - $150.00.
This is Curbside Delivery only in most cases, you should also inquire about Inside Delivery at this time or make arrangements to have help available to get the item inside.
Inside delivery does not include product set up. Customer must set up furniture under any arrangement.
The freight line should contact you by phone before they attempt to make delivery and we will contact you with the Motor Freight companies information so you can call them to arrange for Residential (city) Delivery and Inside Delivery.
If you have a trip planed within 10 WEEKS from the date you plan to place the order, you should make us aware of this when you place the order.
BE AWARE:
The freight line could and probably will, charge you for storage if needed.
IN THE EVENT YOUR SHIPMENT SUFFERS LOSS OR DAMAGE
The furniture leave their respective factory in good condition and it is the RESPONSIBILITY of the freight line to get it to you in good condition. Lost or damaged goods are the carrier's responsibility in all LTL (less than truckload) shipments.
Check your shipment carefully when picking up or accepting delivery to see that it is in good order and all accounted for. When packages check short or are in bad condition, have the carrier's agent (truck driver) make notation of this fact on the freight bill or express receipt, and then he must sign it.
Concealed loss or damaged discovered after delivery of shipment must be reported to the delivering carrier upon discovery, and in any event within 15 days after receipt. Hold goods, containers, and packing material in exact condition found for inspection by the carrier. An inspector for the carrier should call within 48 hours. If nothing is heard in that time, notify them by registered mail and get a receipt. The carrier will issue an inspection report and give you a copy, which must be used to support your claim.
IMPORTANT!
Save all of your documents.
Products cannot be returned to the factory from which they were shipped without PRIOR WRITTEN PERMISSION and instructions from that factory. There are no exceptions.
Do not return goods to shipper or instruct carrier to return goods without first securing written authorization and shipping instructions from shipper.

We want to assist you in every manner possible in collecting claim against carrier for loss or damage, but our willingness to do so does not make us responsible for the filling or collecting of claims, or the replacement of materials.
